Wanda Straw grew up in Western Pennsylvania and moved to Southern Indiana when she was sixteen. After receiving a MA in Telecommunications, she managed numerous projects in several different states for a media Defense Contractor. She moved to the Monterey Peninsula in California in 1987, managing a contract at the Defense Language Institute. She spent 19 years at Sierra Mar Restaurant at the Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, with nearly 16 years as the general manager. Wanda is currently working on a book of short stories about the food and wine industry entitled, Julia Child Said My Name. Carmel has been her home for fifteen years.
Sasha Noodle String Theory is her first book.
